Sarah Johnston MS, MLS ASCP
Founder and Director of Operations
Bio: Sarah Is a Wilson College Alum getting a BS degree in Veterinary Medical Technology. She then obtained her MS degree in Biology from Shippensburg University. Sarah further defined her career by becoming a Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP). Sarah loves all things furred, feathered, or scaled. She is a total nerd with a dash or artistic talent.

Dee Kerr
Office Manager/ Director of Business Development
Bio: Dee worked as a Vet assistant for 10 + years. She then attended HACC's Nursing program. Prior to employment at Allora, Dee managed the non-technical departments of a Specialty Diagnostics Laboratory. Dee loves all things feline and reptilian.

Lauren Cohick BS, HT (ASCP)
Laboratory Manager
Lauren obtained her bachelor's degree in biology at Penn State University. She has been in healthcare for 11 years and has worked in veterinary medicine for 4 years. Lauren is a certified histotechnologist and loves learning new things in the laboratory field. When she isn’t at work, she is spending time with her husband and three young kids. Lauren loves helping others and spreading joy with lots of laughter.

William J. Castellani MD, FCAP
Clinical Pathologist, Laboratory Director
Bio: Dr. Castellani obtained his BS degree from MIT and his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. He has over 20 + years experience as a pathologist, Specializing in Clinical pathology. His past employment has included serving as Medical Director, Laboratory Director, Professor, and Laboratory Consultant. He has worked for PSU and Hershey Medical Center. He currently works on several committees for the College of American Pathologists and has received several awards for his contributions to improving laboratory standards and teaching up-and coming medical professionals.


Theodore L. Kaye MS , BSSE
President/ CEO
Bio: Ted is highly decorated retired Navy Captain who graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a BS degree in Systems Engineering. He obtained his MS in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate school. He is a visionary and loves animals just as much as his daughter Sarah.


Jordyn Crosbie BS
Medical Laboratory Technologist
Jordyn obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a Minor in Marine & Aquatic Science from Albright College in 2017. She also became certified as a Wildlife Firefighter II in 2019. Jordyn has prior experience with both laboratory work and field work. Jordyn is always up for learning new skills, loves to try out new recipes in the kitchen, and enjoys spending time with her husband and family.
Brittany Davis
Phlebotomist/Laboratory Associate
Bio: Brittany is a New Jersey native that has been working in Healthcare for 11 years and has been practicing phlebotomy for 3+ years. When she's not working you can find her working on an arts and crafts project. This cheerful gal loves to travel and make memories. Plus spending time with her husband and family. Lives by the quote" Don't cry because its over, Smile because it happened!"

Niesha Bracey
Director of Phlebotomy
Bio: Niesha has been a phlebotomist for 20 + years. She loves training/educating healthcare professionals on proper venipuncture techniques. Her bubbly and bright personality will definity bring a smile to your day.
Amy C. McCalla DVM, PhD
Veterinary Pathologist
Amy is a Memphis native where she completed a BS degree in microbiology and molecular cell sciences and spent several years at St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. At St. Jude's she developed a profound interest in veterinary pathology and research. She went on to work in several research labs at NCSU, Glaxo Smith Kline, the National Cancer Institute and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. Through these institutes she has published several articles on her research and completed a DVM program, pathology residency and PhD in comparative pathology. Outside of her career, Amy is an antique enthusiast and mother of 3.

Karen Milakovic BB (ASCP), SBB
Senior Advisor
Bio: Karen graduated from Messiah College with a BS in biology. She obtained her MS degree in biology from Wake Forest University and got a post graduate certificate in Computer Information Systems from Penn State Univeristy. Karen is a die hard blood banker with SBB certification. Karen worked as the Director od Operations at Hershey Medical Center before retiring and living the good life with her furry best friend.
